Center Manager Substitute - Clark County

Location: Clark CountyLoaves & Fishes Center

Hours: 6-8 hours per day., 3-5 days per week depending on site (some evenings & weekends required)

General Responsibilities:

Bilingual Center Managed needed at multiple Clark County meal sites. Responsible to manage the day-to-day operation of the center to include the preparation and serving of Meals-On-Wheels and senior dining meals. Provide access to services, programs and activities for senior participants. Cultivate and maintain a multiculturally-diverse and inclusive environment. Supervise and develop volunteers and staff. Manage and develop the operating and fundraising budget. Oversee the maintenance of center property and equipment.

Required Qualifications

1. Associates degree or two years work experience or education in Human Resources, Psychology, Gerontology, Management, Social Work, Community Nutrition or other related field. One year of experience in management position.
2. Ability to work in a team environment and work under own initiative with minimum supervision.
3. Good public and community relations skills. Ability to enhance community development, specifically minority community.
4. Experience with recruiting and managing volunteers.
5. Good computer and organizational skills, with ability to complete required reports accurately and timely.
6. Experience in managing an operating budget and fundraising.
7. Basic knowledge of food service procedures.
8. Car available for job tasks.
9. Bilingual preferred.
10. Must pass drug and alcohol test and criminal background check.
