Center Manager - Substitute

Location: Oregon -- Multnomah & Washington counties
                  Washington -- Clark County

Hours: On-call as needed, 6-8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
              Occasional Saturday & Sunday opportunities

General Responsibilities:

Center Manager needed at multiple Oregon and Washington meal sites. Responsible to manage the day-to-day operation of the center to include the preparation and serving of Meals-On-Wheels and senior dining meals. Provide access to services, programs and activities for senior participants. Maintain a multiculturally inclusive environment. Supervise and develop volunteers and staff. Manage the operating and fundraising budget. Oversee the maintenance of center property and equipment.

Required Qualifications

1. Associates degree or two years work experience or education in Human Resources, Psychology, Gerontology, Management, Social Work, Community Nutrition or other related field. One year of experience in management position.
2. Ability to work in a team environment and work under own initiative with minimum supervision.
3. Good public and community relations skills.
4. Experience with recruiting and managing volunteers.
5. Goodcomputer and organizational skills, with ability to complete required reports accurately and timely.
6. Experience in managing an operating budget and fundraising.
7. Basic knowledge of food service procedures.
8. Car available for Meals-On-Wheels routes and job tasks.
9. Must pass drug and alcohol test and criminal background check..
