Kitchen Coordinator - Hillsboro

Location: Hillsboro Loaves & Fishes Center
                   372 NE Lincoln, Hillsboro OR 97124

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

General Responsibilities:

Properly prepare, hold and serve foods delivered by Loaves & Fishes Central Kitchen in accordance with food sanitation standards/menu instructions. Provide menu innovation and enhancements to meal program. Maintain high standards of personal and kitchen sanitation and safety. Oversee and be responsible for all actions in the kitchen. Maintain proper back-up supplies. Provide volunteer management.

Required Qualifications

1. Minimum of one year experience in food service. Retail food service preferred.
2. Experience working with and managing volunteers.
3. Ability to perform with minimum supervision.
4. Ability to establish good working relationships with all types of individuals.
5. Good record keeping and organizational skills. 
6. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and repetitively lift 30-40 lbs.
7. Bilingual preferred.
8. Must pass drug and alcohol test and criminal background check.
