Thanksgiving at Loaves & Fishes Centers 2007
 You have two opportunities to volunteer for the Thanksgiving season at Loaves & Fishes Centers, The Meals-On-Wheels People:
1. Donate Dinner greeter or volunteer store coordinator
2. Thanksgiving Day Drivers
1. Donate Dinner - November 17 to 21 - Participating Grocers
While shopping for your holiday meal this season, "Donate Dinner" to a homebound senior. Simply add the cost of a meal or two to your grocery bull when you check out at participaint grocers. This event utilizes 1,000 volunteers to distribute Donate Dinner cards at the participating grocers during the five day campaign. This is a great opportunity to get your business, service organization or church involvedin a charitable activitiy.

2. Thanksgiving Day Drivers - November 22 - Portland metro area
Approximately 600 volunteers are needed to deliver a hot, turkey dinner with all the trimmings to homebound seniors on Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2007. Deliveries will take place between 10:30 a.m. and noon and will involve four to five stops.
Registration for Thanksgiving is now closed! Thank you to all who volunteered to bring a hot turkey dinner to homebound seniors throughout the metro area!
