Volunteer Opportunities
Loaves & Fishes Centers could not exist without the help of more than 450 volunteers every weekday. Our volunteers help prepare and serve meals to seniors in 30 different  meal sites throughout Multnomah, Washington and Clark counties, as well as deliver nearly 3,000 Meals-On-Wheels to homebound elderly on an average day.

Looking for a fun, quick volunteer experience? Why not volunteer to deliver Valentine-A-Grams on Friday, Feb. 12, in the morning. Several pick-up locations available. Click here to register.
Meals-On-Wheels drivers are needed at our Lents Center, located at 10325 SE Holgate Blvd., Ste. 121 in Portland. Pickup meals between 10 and 11:30 a.m. Routes available on Thursdays and Fridays. Deliver once a week or once a month. Deliveries take about 90 minutes. For more information, email volunteer.manager@lfcpdx.org or phone 503.953.8202.
Meals-On-Wheels kitchen volunteers are needed at our Elm Court Center, located at 1032 SW Main Street. Volunteers needed between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Meals-On-Wheels drivers needed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Meals On Two Wheels route available first and second Tuesday of each month. You provide the bike, we provide the trailer and coolers. For more information, phone Robert at 503.953.8214.
Kitchen volunteers are needed at our Hillsboro Center, located at 372 NE Lincoln Street. Volunteers needed between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Duties include food prep, packing Meals-On-Wheels, dishwashing and clean up. For more information, phone Maria at 503.648.2950.

Opportunities available at our Tigard Center, located at 8815 SW O'Mara Street in Tigard! Front Desk Receptionist needed on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Meals-On-Wheels Packer Monday through Friday; Hostess/Greeter on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Kitchen Help Monday through Friday; Servers needed once a month from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. For more information, contact Cynthia at the Tigard Center, 503.620.4613.
Meals-On-Wheels drivers are needed at our Cherry Blossom Center, located at 740 NE 106th Avenue in the East Portland Community Center. Pickup meals between 10 and 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Deliver once a week or once a month. Deliveries take about an hour and a half. This center can also use kitchen help on Wednesdays and Fridays. Clerical Support is needed at the Resource Center, located at 7710 SW 31st Avenue in Multnomah Village. Come in from 10 a.m. to noon or from 1 to 3 p.m. to help us with mailings! Phone 503.953.9101.
Volunteers needed to phone seniors to confirm frozen meal orders. Calls are made Tuesdays from 10 a.m. until noon at our Resource Center, located at 7710 SW 31st Avenue in Multnomah Village. Phone 503.953.8123.
