The Clark County REALTORS® Foundation will pay for all the meals served to seniors in Clark County, Wash. provided by Loaves & Fishes Centers, The Meals-On-Wheels People on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007. In addition, 80 members of the Clark County Association of REALTORS® will serve the meals in four different locations and deliver Meals-On-Wheels throughout the county.

The Clark County REALTORS® Foundation raised more than $3,000 to fund the meals. The Clark County Association of REALTORS® and their affiliate members will be providing all the volunteer labor on that day, giving the regular Loaves & Fishes Centers volunteers the day off. REALTORS® volunteers will be working at the Firstenburg Loaves & Fishes Center, located at 700 NE 136^th Avenue in Vancouver; Luepke Loaves & Fishes Center, located at 1009 E McLoughlin in Vancouver; Battle Ground Loaves & Fishes Center, located at 116 NE 3^rd in Battle Ground; and Washougal Loaves & Fishes Center, located at 1681 C Street in Washougal between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Since 1970 Loaves & Fishes Centers has provided a nutritional and social lifeline for seniors through 35 meal sites in Multnomah, Washington and Clark counties and Meals-On-Wheels delivery to homebound seniors. With the help of more than 7,500 volunteers, the nonprofit, nonsectarian agency now serves 5,000 meals daily and more than 1.3 million meals each year. Loaves & Fishes Centers was named one of the “Ten Most Admired Companies” in the non profit category in Oregon by The Portland Business Journal in 2006.
