Taste of Asia will host a Y2K Party on March 28 at 8 p.m.to benefit Hillsboro Loaves & Fishes Center. Come party like it’s 1999 and bring either $1 for admission or a can of food. All proceeds will help provide hot meals to homebound seniors in the Hillsboro area.

Hillsboro Loaves & Fishes Center is located at 372 NE Lincoln Street and provides hot, noon meals to anyone age 60 and older and delivers Meals-On-Wheels to homebound seniors. Since 1970 Loaves & Fishes Centers has provided a nutritional and social lifeline for seniors through 31 meal sites in Multnomah, Washington and Clark counties and Meals-On-Wheels delivery to homebound seniors. With the help of more than 7,400 volunteers, the nonprofit, secular agency now serves 5,000 meals daily and more than 1.4 million meals each year. Loaves & Fishes Centers was named one of the “Ten Most Admired Companies” in the non profit category in Oregon by The Portland Business Journal in 2006.
